About Me
I am a qualified teacher, forest school leader and systemic family practitioner. I have my own daughter who is 9 months and I am looking for work where she can be with me. I am offering wrap around care in your own home, private tutoring, SEN and SEMH consultation (particularly in relation to the EHCP process and engaging with schools) and home ed support either 1:1 or with groups. If a home ed group would like forest school provision then as long as you have a space for it I can come and run forest school sessions for you.
My Experience
I taught in mainstream schools for 5 years before moving to a forest school nursery where I was in charge of the reception age education and flexi-school placements. I then worked in London's first completely outdoor primary school before teaching at a primary pupil referral unit for 2 years where I also consulted with schools and families. I retrained in systemic family practice and worked with families offering family support in an MHST for 2 years before leaving to have my daughter.
My Qualifications
PGCE, level 3 forest school, silver level trauma informed practice, foundation and intermediate systemic family practice, Level 1 autism training through previous workplace (although far more experienced in this in practice), Teen Life NAS course provider.
My Availability
Flexible but my daughter will be with me.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
