My name is Betty-Sarah, and I am a young adult seeking to work with children. I have a keen interest in helping young people become the best versions of themselves, through education, one-on-one interactions, play, and child-centred activities.
I am a very creative person, with qualifications in art, design and textiles. I run my own part time fashion business, and previously worked in custom cake decoration and baking. I would love to teach these skills to young children, so they can express themselves through creativity.
I am also an unpaid carer for my younger sister, who has complex needs, including selective mutism and autism, so i have experience in children who need different levels of complex care.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a babysitter for local families, volunteered at baby and child groups, and volunteered at a primary school, working with early years classes.
I worked for a year in hospitality, learning how to cater, deliver counter service, and create a clean and upbeat workspace for fellow employers.
I have good references, a Level 2 college qualification, and will graduate as a university access student in 2026.
