About Me
Hi Parents! My name is Jozanne. I’m a current student at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow where I pursue a Masters of Science in Diplomacy and International Security.
I am from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, but have spent the past five years studying and living in Taiwan. This experience has shaped me into someone who is appreciative and understanding of diverse cultures. I enjoy meeting new people, socializing and forming long lasting relationships. I especially enjoy the fulfillment of watching my students bloom right in front of my eyes and creating a nurturing environment.

My Experience
I’ve spent the past 4+ years teaching English, tutoring, and caring for children. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of supporting over 100 kids from all sorts of backgrounds, ages, and academic levels.
My style is playful yet purposeful. I often use “learning through play” with younger children who aren’t quite ready for formal classroom structures. It keeps them curious, stimulated, and most importantly, happy while learning in their own space.
I love tailoring activities to fit each child’s personality and needs. Some days that looks like a calm babysitting session focused on creating a safe, nurturing environment, and other days it’s helping with their academic growth through engaging lessons.
No matter the setting, I’m passionate about childcare and have always had a natural way of connecting with kids and teens.
