About Me
I am going into my final year of my MA in Liberal Arts at the University of Bristol. As a part of my degree I studied abroad in Tokyo, Japan where I was exposed to a variety of cultures and influences which I think has made me more apt with working with children in a kind, considerate manner. Whilst I was there, I did long term babysitting with local families, and I have been doing part time childcare work since I was as young as 16.
I try to engage as much as possible with the kids that I work with as it’s important to me to form a positive connection where we both enjoy ourselves, learn from each other and have fun.
My Experience
I have been babysitting for 5 years, often connecting with families beyond just childcare. I have been working as a teaching assistant in schools for the last 3 years, so I am DBS checked. I have 3 younger siblings so I am also very knowledgeable and empathetic to lives younger than my own!
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked, TEFL qualified and have level 3 emergency first aid at work.
My Availability
I am mainly looking for evening and weekend work. But I am also happy to do before/after school shifts too on a regular basis.
