About Me
Hi, my name is Amy and I am 24 and i have 2 + years experience with children ages 5-11 with special needs and learning difficulties, I myself struggled with school all the way until i finished my GCSE’s, the only reason i was able to obtain my high grades was because i have a fantastic private tutor. I have two SEND sisters, one who is now in college and one who is homeschooled. The reason I am signing up is I hope to find some children who would benefit from my help, whether that be building confidence, helping with school work or just in general building a relationship between me, the parents and the child.
My Experience
I have had 2 + years at a SEND school that my sisters attended, I don’t have the ability to get a full time job as my schedule has to accommodate for my sisters. As previously mentioned I have life long experience as my entire family have ASD and ADHD so I would say I am patient and very understanding and can hopefully build a bond with your child. I attended university to do my primary teaching degree in 2020-2023 but unfortunately had to leave before i graduated for family reasons and covid.
My Qualifications
I have grade 7 or higher in all my GCSEs and I have a higher aim vfx, animation and game design diploma (not that that has any relevance)
