Hi, I’m Ella! I’m 20 years old and a final-year nursing student at the University of Edinburgh, based in the city centre. Alongside my studies, I work part-time as an Assistant Nurse Practitioner at the Western General Hospital, and I’m looking for some additional work that allows me to use my skills and passion for caring.
I’d describe myself as friendly, caring, bubbly, and reliable. I love spending time with children and enjoy making activities fun and engaging—whether that’s arts and crafts, music, creative cooking, or simply having a laugh together. My Experience
Through my nursing training, I’ve completed several health visiting placements within communities across Edinburgh. These placements gave me the opportunity to support families, build strong communication skills, and gain valuable experience in child development and family care.
In addition, I’ve babysat for friends, family members, and neighbours, giving me plenty of experience with children of all ages. I’ve always found it rewarding to connect with kids, keep them entertained, and support their wellbeing—whether that’s through structured activities or simply being a warm, trustworthy presence.
My Qualifications
As a final-year nursing student, I am fully trained in CPR and First Aid, and I have experience in maternal and infant care in both community and hospital settings. My nursing training has given me a strong foundation in responsibility, patience, and care, which I bring into my babysitting work. Parents can feel confident knowing their little ones are in safe, capable hands.
My Availability
I have various classes throughout the week, but I am available most evenings, some afternoons and mornings! I also work one day a week as an Assistant Nurse Practitioner, so I have plenty of flexibility to support families alongside my studies.
