About Me
I studied until the age of 20 before beginning my career in hospitality management. At 21, I transitioned into childcare after nannying for a customer’s child, which sparked my passion for working with children. My journey then took me abroad—first to Thailand, where I managed a hotel reception, and then to Vietnam, where I taught English and launched my own meal-prep business. While in Vietnam, I discovered an even deeper love for supporting and teaching children. I later returned to England to have my son and have since worked as a touch-typing tutor, a role I continue today. I am now settled in London, where my son is starting school, and I look forward to building long-term connections with families while we work toward our dream of one day returning to Vietnam.
My Experience
I have over 10 years in various childcare roles; from nanny to babysitting roles, to my current role in private tutoring/ running school clubs.
My first role was a long term nannying position from age 2-11 with a boy with ASD. Whilst working for this family I took on an all round mother's helper role including PA tasks and light house keeping.
I had several other families that I babysat for adhoc during these year.
I then went to live in Vietnam for a few years, where I taught English and ran a meal prep business. I had several clients that had children, so I catered smaller meals for more specific taste buds.
I currently teach Touch Typing in after school clubs at a number of private schools across Kensington and Chelsea. I also do at home tutoring.
