Hi I’m Daisy! I’ve been working in childcare since I left university where I got my degree in psychology. My passion lies in working with children, supporting them in their development and promoting their wellbeing! I love singing, reading, arts and crafts, drama and playing games. I am beginning training as a child and adolescent psychotherapist in January 2026.
My Experience
June 2024-August 2025: Full time Nursery Practitioner (40 hours a week) at Winchmore Hill Day Nursery, working in the 2-3 year old room, writing development reports and weekly observations for key children alongside daily duties
December 2022 ongoing: Childline volunteer counsellor working 4 hours a week in their London base
Feb. 2023 - April 2024: SEN teaching assistant working primarily in Reception and Year 1 classes 1:1 with pupils with suspected autism and other additional needs
September 2021-October 2022: 1 year working as a part-time nanny 4 afternoons a week in term time and full days during school holidays, caring for a 5-year-old and a 6-year-old
Freelance nanny and babysitting for children between the ages of 4 months - 8 years
My Qualifications
BSc in Psychology.
TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health.
Completed 40 hours of training to become a qualified volunteer counsellor for Childline.
My Availability
I will be starting training as a child psychotherapist in January 2026 which will be part time, studying on Mondays so looking to work Tuesday-Friday from then. Until then I am available for work all week, until November when I am going travelling for a month.
