About Me
Hi! I'm currently an Out of School Club Practitioner for an organic nursery based in York. I have worked with children (volunteering and professionally) since 2023 and thoroughly enjoy my job as every child is different so no two days are the same. I study psychology part time and hope to go to university within the next few years but I am currently happy and stable in my childcare career. In my spare time I enjoy reading, tennis, and painting. My Experience
I have worked in multiple childcare settings, comprising of education and pure childcare. I have previously taught gymnastics to children ages 4-11 on a weekly basis, assisting them with their development in their physical and motor skills alongside encouraging exploratory play relating to gymnastics. I have also previously worked within a secondary school, mainly focusing on the younger years (11-15). I helped with classroom difficulties such as spelling, understanding the task, explaining the reasoning etc. However, I now work for a nursery in their Out of School Club for the local infant and junior schools (ages 4-11). I also frequently provide cover within the nursery (ages 0-5) so I am more than happy to care for any child between the ages of 0-15.
My Qualifications
I hold a fully clear enhanced DBS check to work with children. I will also hold a paediatric first aid qualification from November 23rd 2025.
My Availability
I work for the Nursery every morning and evening, except from Monday and Tuesday evenings, so I am unfortunately unavailable within those hours.

My fees are flexible; dependent on the agreement we have (travel, food, overnight etc).
