About Me

Hi!
I’m currently working as a Special Needs and Disability teacher in Kirkby Lonsdale, with over 4 years’ professional experience in SEND and childcare, and more than 5 years of babysitting.
I mainly offer babysitting, but I also provide tutoring and learning support. I’m fully DBS checked, first aid trained, and currently studying Educational Psychology at university.
I have experience caring for toddlers through to teenagers, and specialise in supporting children with additional needs. My training includes Makaton, PECS, TIP, and behaviour management strategies. I’m also confident with medical needs such as feeding tubes and administering medication.
I’m reliable, punctual, and always aim to create a safe, friendly and fun environment. I bring lots of energy and creativity, I love crafts, outdoor play, and activities that help children learn while having fun.
I also drive, so I can help with school runs or outings.
I pride myself on being adaptable to each child’s unique needs and routines, ensuring they feel supported, comfortable and happy while in my care.
