About Me
After many years of working as an IT Consultant, business analyst, and accounting officer, I have decided to take a bold step into the childcare industry as a Nanny, to become a qualified Childcare Consultant over time. My professional work experience spans numerous multinational companies, where I have helped them design changes or re-engineer their business processes to achieve more agile objectives.
Those years required excellent verbal & written communication, good interpersonal, planning,
presentation, and organisational skills, which gave me a strong ability in problem resolution &
relationship building.
My Experience
My MAIN experience with childcare and children is, of course, with my own two children (24-year-old son & 20-year-old daughter), whom I raised alongside my husband while juggling a busy work career like many of the families that will be seeking my services.
SO FAR:
1) I worked as an after-school many from Nov- Dec 2025 with a family of two children aged 12yr & 14yrs. Helping with pickup, dinner prep, homework & dropping at an evening activity so their parents has peace of mind while at work.
2) I also now do adhoc nannying to cover INSET days for a really friendly mum that is a teacher but whose wfh husband is too busy to monitor the children due to the nature of his work commitments. I have also covered when one of rhe children was off sick from school as it wasn’t infectious. This admirable couple are happy & willing to give me a reference should any one request it. ??
3) Presently, I am with a family of two children aged 4yrs and 8yrs whom I pickup from school two days a week regularly & care for them until their mum returns in the evening. Also, I drop them one morning a week at school to allow their mum get to work early. However, I will become available full week again after Nov.4th ( Mon-Thurs) as my current client’s circumstances will be changing after the half term. The lovely family has also kindly expressed they’re happy to give me a reference to any other client that signs me on after them.
So that’s my experience so far and I look forward to the next adventure with another lovely family I hope. ???? Thank you.
My Qualifications
Basic DBS check (August.2025).
Enhanced DBS check (March.2026)
St. John’s Ambulance peadiatric First Aid. (Aug.2025)
A clean UK Full Driver’s License (Summer 2008).
Childcare Goldmembership Limited Liabilty Insurance Cover. (Up to date & Active)
OFSTED Registration (in progress fo this year 2026).
My Availability
Adequate notice within my relative contractual commitment to others.
My Fees
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
Rate per hour.
This will also depend on the ages of your children and the level of care, supervision & tasks that will be required of me while I am with them.
