About Me
My name is Carlie, I am organised, alert and compassionate. I have qualifications in health and social care standing at a level 2 merit along side a hands on basic first aid certificate. I have also recently completed a supporting children and young people’s wellbeing course. I have hands on experience and knowledge with autistic children ages 3-8. I am able to provide a structured safe environment for multiple children of various ages including a balanced diet, age appropriate educational activities and safe play. I also have experience in creating sensory experiences for children.
My Experience
I have 2 nephews who are ages 5 and 8 who have autism spectrum disorder and both are on different levels of the spectrum. Both are on medication at different doses and I can safely administer these doses. I also have a nephew and niece who have chromosome deletion this leads to communication difficulties and cognitive challenges. I have babysat these children multiple times since they were babies, I am also experienced in overnight stay.
