About Me
I am a 19 year old who has just left full time education, over the years I have found a love for child care and wish to take it further. In the future I wish to go to university and get a degree to enable me to become a primary school teacher, so I believe that baby sitting/ child minding is a good place to start! I am a very active person, involving myself in many sports and hobbies such as piano.
My Experience
I have 6 siblings and with most of them being younger than me I have had to be involved with most of their upbringing, this involved school pick ups, making dinner, changing nappies etc, as my father works full time and my mum is a midwife, so I was frequently depended on to support my siblings. Additionally I have babysat for most of my siblings friends and have expanded my practice and am now working for many different families, some of which have special needs children which I have had to adapt and develop my skills for (totalling over 5 years of babysitting experience). I have also volunteered in a nursery for few months where I specifically cared for babies. Moreover I have experience with multi lingual families and finally I have child/ baby first aid training, a full DBS check and am looking to get registered with ofsted.
My Qualifications
I have 8 GCSE’s, including English maths and health and social care (which means some of my studies have involved child behaviour) and 3 Alevels at A* AB.

She was great with the kids, kept them entertained, and played with them throughout the evening. They loved her! She was flexible when I needed to adjust my plans, communicated well, and arrived on time. I’d be very happy to have her babysit again.

Amber has been a great babysitter for our kids, who now want us to go out every week if possible, so they can spend time with her! She is highly reliable, fun and calm. She creates a happy atmosphere every time she visits, which is appreciated because prior to this our kids would get upset if we tried to have a night out. Highly recommended!
