About Me
I am an experienced and caring childcare professional with over a decade of working
closely with children through my art school. I have a calm, reliable nature and a natural
rapport with young people, from early years through to secondary school age. I have 2 teenage daughters myself, so have plenty of experience with all ages!
I am passionate about creating a supportive, creative environment where children feel safe,
inspired, and confident. My background as an art educator has given me strong skills in
planning engaging activities, encouraging creativity, and managing group dynamics, all
while maintaining a nurturing, consistent approach to care. I understand the importance
of structure, routine, and play in a child’s development, and bring warmth, patience, and
professionalism to every role.
My Experience
I ran primary after school art classes for 10 years from my studio in Lewes. I now just run the holiday classes, which are day-long classes for primary aged children. I also nanny for a family in West Sussex a couple of days a week. I have advanced DBS and a Paediatric First Aid Training certificate.

• Organised after-school art clubs for children and expanded to offer adult painting
and drawing classes in the past 6 years.
Nannying - I nanny for a family in West Sussex 2 days a week, I drop off at school, pick up, plan meals and cook as well as teach art activities to their daughter.
My Availability
My availability is Monday morning and after school. Tuesday morning (not before school) and afternoon/after school. Weds morning (not before school) , Thursday morning (not before school) Friday before school and after school.
