My Experience

While I’m not a professional childcare provider, I bring a strong understanding of child development, emotional needs, and safeguarding principles through my ongoing psychology training.
As part of my training, I’m completing placements within child and family services, where I work closely with children and adolescents in supportive, therapeutic, and educational settings.
I’m skilled in building rapport with children of all ages and bringing a calm, caring, and empathetic presence to my work.

My Qualifications

Although I’m new to professional childcare, I have valuable experience working with children and young people through my psychology training and previous support worker roles.

Through this work, I’ve supported children and adolescents with learning diabilities and additional needs in mental health settings, helping them with emotional wellbeing, social development, and coping strategies.

While I’m not a qualified childcare provider, I bring a caring, patient, and responsible approach to everything I do. I enjoy spending time with children, engaging them in creative or calming activities, and creating a safe, positive environment.

I’m currently looking to build hands-on experience in childcare alongside my studies and placements, and I’m always happy to adapt to each family’s needs and routines.
