About Me
Hi, I’m Chelsey! I’m 20 years old and currently in my third and final year studying Primary Education at university, training to become a primary school teacher.
I have previous babysitting experience and extensive experience working with children through my university placements and teaching practice. I genuinely love working with children and enjoy creating a fun, safe and caring environment where they feel comfortable and happy.
I hold a valid DBS check and am happy to help with a range of childcare needs, including entertaining children, helping with homework, preparing simple meals, bedtime routines and general care.
I’m friendly, patient, reliable and responsible, and understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable with the person caring for their children. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and am happy to answer any questions you may have!
My Experience
I have 2 years of experience with children in primary school settings as well as experience with newborn-5 years. I’m also an auntie myself so i do not just have professional experience i have personal experiences from being around younger children from a very early age. I’m very passionate about working with children and it is something i’ve always wanted to do. Through working on my degree i plan and teach lessons solely by myself so i am available to also help with any of your children’s homework or tutoring if needs be.
My Qualifications
I have a strong educational background and am currently in my third and final year of studying Primary Education at university, working towards becoming a qualified primary school teacher.
My qualifications include:
* 7 GCSEs, including English, Maths and Science
* Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification
* A-Level in English Literature
* A-Level in Photography
* Currently studying Primary Education at university
My Health and Social Care qualification has given me valuable knowledge around child development, safeguarding, health and wellbeing, while my Primary Education degree and teaching placements have provided me with extensive practical experience working directly with children of different ages.
I also have previous babysitting experience and a valid DBS check.
My Availability
Due to my university timetable and teaching placements, my weekday availability can vary from week to week. However, I am available on certain weekdays depending on my schedule, as well as Friday evenings, weekends and throughout school holidays.
I always aim to be as flexible as possible and am happy to discuss availability in advance. Please feel free to message me with the dates and times you require, and I’ll let you know whether I’m available.
