About Me

I have over four years of experience working with children in both coaching and childminding roles, supporting children aged 5–10 in a range of settings, as well as SEN. These environments taught me how to adapt activities to suit each child’s individual needs, energy levels and emotional comfort.

I’ve provided childminding support for 5 different families, building strong, trusting relationships with both the children and parents. My role involved keeping children engaged, picking up and dropping to school, keeping them safe and supported while encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour. This includes helping with homework, preparing small meals, taking them to extra curricular activities and even creating my own for them in sports.

My biggest strength is empathy. I’m naturally patient and emotionally aware, which helps me quickly understand how a child is feeling and respond in a calm, supportive way. I make a conscious effort to ensure every child feels included, heard and valued, especially children who may struggle with confidence, communication or group settings. I’m particularly good at creating a positive, reassuring environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Whether that’s adapting an activity, offering emotional support during difficult moments, or celebrating small wins, I focus on helping children feel safe, involved and encouraged at all times.
