About Me

Hi! I’m Joana, and I really enjoy spending time with children. I hold a valid DBS and Paediatric First Aid certificate. I’m responsible, patient and love helping children learn and have fun. I have lots of experience from working at a day nursery where i’ve been trained to be a Deputy room leader trained to look after children from 3 months to 5 years old. I always ensure children feel safe and happy. I have weekend availability and can help with homework, playtime, meals or bedtime routines.

My Experience

I work as a Childcare Practitioner in a day nursery where I support children’s development through play, learning activities, and routines. As a Deputy room leader, my responsibilities include supervising indoor and outdoor play, assisting with feeding, nappy changes, and helping with early learning tasks. This role gives me great experience in creating a safe, caring, and fun environment for children.
