My Experience

I have over 30 years of childcare experience, and experience of working with children and families including within the voluntary, private and statutory sectors. I have extensive qualifications ranging from an NVQ in early years, to postgraduate professional qualifications in health and social care.

I have worked with all ages of children and young people and have extensive experience in working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities- both professional and personal experience.

I have extensive experience of home education as I educate two of my children and understand the variety of reasons behind decisions to home educate, including where there has been trauma and lack of appropriate support at school.

I am a warm, caring, calm and patient person, and always work hard to understand every child and young person's individual needs and to provide the appropriate care and support.

I am DBS checked and will be updating my first aid soon.

My Qualifications

I have extensive qualifications in the area of childcare and working with children and families:

NVQ 3 Early Years Care and Education
BSc Health and Social Care
PGDip Child and Youth Care Studies
PGDip Social Work

Extensive training and courses in safeguarding, understanding autism, equality and diversity etc..

My Availability

I am available for part-time nannying roles which could include afterschool care. I can have some flexibility around days and times.

I am an experienced home educator and am also available as a home education helper.

I would need to bring my youngest daughter with me (aged 11), she is bright and friendly, and would be a positive addition to the caring environment.

My Fees

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
