My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with children of all ages.
I was a youth leader at my church with children aged 6-11 and then when I became older I worked as a youth worker at a different church in Newport for high school age children. Here I ran many workshops, including drama, art and social skills for example cooking. I also assisted a guide leader for a short time and that involved lots of outdoor learning.

Most recently I am a childminder for two children. One aged 2 and the other 11 months. I have them on separate days at the moment, and we do lots of activities and learning in a fun way.
I have my DBS and first aid training.
I drive and require all children that go in my car to sit in a car seat if they are under the height/weight requirements by law, regardless if their parents let them sit without a seat.

I am fun and energetic and have references available on request.

My Qualifications

I have GCSE’s in all core subjects at grade C or above.
I hold 3 A Levels. I have a BTEC diploma in public services. A diploma of higher education in Psychology and Counselling (including child psychology)
First Aid Trained.

My fees are subject to discussion depending on length of days, if I am feeding etc
