Hi I’m Rachel, I am a caring and trustworthy individual who you can rely on. Anyone who knows me would say i am fantastic with young children, working towards becoming a qualified childminder, I am fully DBS checked, I offer baby sitting services ADHOC at the moment, Currently I work as a retail manager as my primary job and have done for 14 years but since working with children I have found what I am truly passionate about.
I am familiar with newborns and all kinds of ages and needs of children. I have a 2 year boy old so know how full of energy they can be. I love to play and interact with your child, read to them, play arts and crafts, keep them busy and learning lots.
I am first aid trained for adults and infants/babies, my job allows me to work with all kinds of ages. I have baby sat for many different children. Part of my work experience I choose alongside my A levels was working with children in a primary school. Which confirmed my enjoyment working with young children. Full DBS check complete.
My approach is to be involved with your children to allow them to be confident in my company, nurture them so they can become the best they can be. I would say I am firm but fair as I want the child to have fun! In my past experiences I have built some brilliant relationships with the people I have baby sat for.

Even though we were complete strangers, she kindly adjusted her own plans and found time to babysit our 4 year old boy at incredibly short notice. She was very polite, calm, and easy to communicate with, and she quickly built a wonderful connection with our child. We truly appreciate her help and highly recommend her.

Rachel was absolutely wonderful with my baby. From the moment she arrived, she was calm, gentle, and incredibly attentive. She clearly has a natural gift with children and her calming approach made us feel at ease right away.
She engaged him with games and stories and while he is usually shy with new people, he was very comfortable with her and they hit it off right away. It definitely helped the anxiety of leaving him for the first time. He was happy and relaxed the entire time, which truly gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend her and would happily book her again!"

Thankyou so much for your kind words it was a privilege to look after your lovely boy!
Rachel has been nothing but understanding about the anxiety we have felt about leaving our 3 kids with someone new, especially as our two year old is a bit temperamental. We also have a 7 year old and a 6 month old baby and she got stuck right in and got up to lots of fun with them both times she has been. She listened to everything we asked and we have already arranged for her to come back, thank you!
