Hello!
My name is Noémie, and I am a 24-year-old Master's student, originally from sunny Nice (France).
I am offering babysitting, and as a native French speaker, I'd also love to help with any French tutoring (or any other basic-level classes).
I can provide a fun, immersive way for your child to learn, or simply be a safe and engaging pair of hands.
I'm an active person who loves being outdoors and who is obsessed with dogs!
I am also passionate about history and politics!
My Experience
I’ve been babysitting since I was 15, so I have nearly a decade of experience!
I’m happy looking after children of all ages, from toddlers right up to teenagers.
My summer job used to be working in a palace's kids' club, so I'm very used to planning activities and looking after groups of children. I honestly really love being around kids.
My Qualifications
I am First Aid trained (certified in France).
While I don't have a formal childcare qualification, my decade of hands-on experience speaks for itself.
Other than that, I have a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University, worked for a year in Paris in the energy industry, and am now finishing my Master's (I spent my first year in Vienna and am now here in York). I'm happy to provide references!
My Availability
My timetable is quite flexible. I'm available every day, my only fixed commitments are my classes on Mondays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
I am open to both regular bookings and ad-hoc or one-off sitting!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £11.99 per hour
Open to discussing my rates for regular babysitting and tutoring. :)
