Firstly my name is Hope, i am 29 years old and i am a mother of 2 children aged 7 & 9.
My interests include geeking out on history, arts & crafts and music! Most of my free time is spent at gigs or concerts primarily jazz and soul music but i do enjoy a vast range of genres.
My Experience
As i have mentioned in my “About me” i am a parent myself. i think nothing will prepare you more for a role within childcare than having your own! I know what it is to nurture children emotionally, mentally and physically.
I am kind, caring and attentive but i am also firm yet fair when needed. I aim to encourage curiosity and skill-building through age-appropriate activities.
Having 2 children myself has taught me how different each child can be, i am able to tailor the kind of childcare/activities i provide as to what suits your child’s interests and i am able to elevate that skill if you have 2 or more children by having the capability to keep everyone engaged and give shared attention whether you have a child who loves reading, lego, puzzling or one who just has ants in their pants!
Aside from having my own children i have also nannied for a wonderful family who would be more than happy to provide a reference.
I was with my previous family for just over 3 years. I started in January 2022 until August 2025. I nannied 2 children, When I started the youngest was 2 & the oldest was 5.
My duties were
•Nursery pickup ( for the youngest child )
•Schedule nap time/ change nappies
•Prepare snacks
•School pickup for oldest child
•Commute to any after school activities
•Take children to the park
•Plan play dates
•Assist any homework, reading and times tables with older child
My Qualifications
I have a 8 A*-C GCSE’s
I have a city and guilds Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
My fees will differ from £17-20 depending on what it is that you require from me such as how many children or whether you need additional housekeeping as well as childcare but i am open to a discussion and finding what works for us both
