My Experience

Most of my childcare experience comes from regularly looking after the children of family and friends, which has given me lots of hands-on, real-life practice in a warm home environment. I’ve helped with school pick-ups, after-school routines, playtime, meals, and general day-to-day care. Growing up around children has made me very comfortable engaging with them, building bonds, and creating a fun, friendly atmosphere where they feel happy and safe. I’m often the person relatives and friends turn to when they need support, which reflects the trust they have in me. I also hold a clear DBS check and always prioritise children’s wellbeing.

My Qualifications

I hold a clear DBS check and have strong hands-on experience caring for children in a home setting. While most of my experience has been with family and friends’ children, it has given me a solid understanding of children’s needs, routines, and safety. I’m confident supporting school pick-ups, playtime, meal preparation, and general daily care. I’m reliable, responsible, and naturally great at building rapport with children, creating a positive and nurturing environment. I’m also committed to continuing to learn and grow within childcare to support families as best as I can.
