My Experience

My current role as a Support Worker has given me valuable experience in providing attentive, person-centred care, following individual routines, communicating effectively and responding calmly to different needs and situations. I am also familiar with safeguarding, confidentiality, basic life support, infection prevention and emergency procedures.

While my professional experience is primarily in adult care rather than formal childcare, I am patient, attentive, responsible, and trustworthy when caring for someone who depends on me. I am comfortable following parents' instructions and established routines, preparing simple meals, keeping children safely occupied, helping with bedtime routines and providing a calm and caring environment.

I am particularly interested in occasional babysitting and evening/weekend work. I take the time to understand each family's routines, expectations, and children's individual needs before providing care.

My Qualifications

I have a Master’s degree and professional experience working in a care environment.

My relevant care and safety training includes Basic Life Support, safeguarding, communication, infection prevention and control, moving and handling, emergency procedures and supporting individuals with different care needs.

I am also experienced in following care plans and individual routines, maintaining confidentiality and putting people's safety and wellbeing first.

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My babysitting rate is £13 per hour for one child. I aim to keep my rates fair and affordable while providing caring, reliable and attentive childcare.

I understand that every family has different needs, so I’m happy to discuss the details of your booking in advance, including caring for more than one child, longer bookings or specific routines and requirements.
