About Me
Hi, I am a 26 year old navy wife 5 year old son who is home schooling him. I am looking for roles that allow me to bring him along as my husband is often away and this makes it difficult to find work. I am just finishing my role as working as a therapeutic support worker in a childrens home which specialises in trauma and special needs support. Myself and my son have a lot of energy but can also be calm, paitent, and understanding as well as empathetic and compassionate when needed. I love being around children and being a mum so this may be a great opportunity to help someone out with mummy helper/ babysitting work. It may also allow my son to socialise more and have a play mate. We love animals, we have 2 cats ourselves. I’ve always been around children of all ages as I’ve grown up in a large family. I also drive may come in handy during the day for help. I have experience with special needs children using practices like RIISE or PACE. I have safeguarding, first aid etc certificates. I have so much I could share about myself and my family and how I can support you. However I’d love to hear from you and find out about yourself and your family.

My Experience
I am currently finishing a job role in therapeutic support work of almost 4 years. Before that role I worked as a senior support assistant in the community. Both roles have taught me compassion on a level like no other. I am trained in supporting children to regulate and how to deal with situations when they are dysregulated using playfulness, curiosity, acceptance and empathy. I can provide references. I can also provide during interview examples and knowledge. I am first aid trained and safeguarding trained.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 diploma in health and social care,
A Level 3 psychology
A Level 3 Sociology
BSc Degree in Sociology
Grade B in maths and English GCSE
Passed all my other GCSE too that I can provide certificates.
