My Experience

I worked in a nursery from 2022 to 2025 during half terms and school holidays, where I supported children’s daily routines and development. I’m most comfortable working with preschool-aged children and above, as that is where most of my experience is, but I’m also happy to help with younger children. I’ve also babysat for family and close family friends, helping with tasks such as bathing, dressing, changing, and planning activities that encourage learning through play. I’m comfortable adapting to different age groups and family routines, and I always aim to follow parents’ preferences to ensure consistency for the children.

My Qualifications

I do not hold formal childcare qualifications, but I have several years of practical childcare experience, including nursery work and babysitting. I hold a Basic DBS check and am confident supporting children safely through daily routines, play, and creative activities.

My Availability

Parents can rely on me for babysitting, mother’s helper duties, keeping children entertained, supporting routines, and light household help when needed. I’m also happy to help with school pick-ups and drop-offs where walking or public transport is suitable, although I don’t currently drive. I’m also comfortable working in homes with pets.
As I’m studying part-time, I’m available during evenings, weekends, and school holidays, including half terms. However I can be slightly more flexible if asked in advance.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour

My hourly rate is flexible depending on the role, number of children, and hours required. I’m always happy to discuss this with parents to find something that works for everyone.
