My Experience

I’ve been tutoring for over four years and currently work as a professional tutor with Prospero Learning and AP Education. I achieved Grade 9s at GCSE and A*A*A in A-level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, giving me a strong understanding of both the subject content and the exam techniques needed to achieve top grades.

Lessons are available online via Zoom or in person (at a different rate). During online sessions, we work through questions together using an interactive whiteboard, allowing me to see each student’s thought process and provide guidance in real time. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs, whether that’s building confidence, strengthening understanding of challenging topics, or improving exam technique and problem-solving skills.

I pride myself on creating a supportive, engaging learning environment, and all of my students have achieved their target grades or exceeded them. Alongside tutoring, I also have experience working with children through sports coaching, which has further developed my ability to build positive relationships and adapt my teaching to different learning styles. An enhanced DBS certificate is available upon request
