We couldn’t ask for better care

After having a really difficult experience at a local nursery, we had to pull our son out immediately. I messaged Lorraine on the Friday, and by the very next day we were sitting in her home chatting about Patrick potentially joining her. From the moment we met her, we just knew. She showed us folders full of days out, activities, and arts and crafts she does with the children, and her level of care and love honestly blew us away. We didn’t even consider looking anywhere else.
Patrick has been with Lorraine since September and he is absolutely thriving. He adores her and the other children she looks after. At drop-off he leans straight into Lorraine, and at pick-up he often doesn’t want to leave — which tells me everything I need to know.
Lorraine communicates with me regularly throughout the day, which means the world to me. I always know how Patrick is doing, what he’s been up to, and how his day has been. She also writes messages in his diary about what he’s done each day — it’s clear how much attention and care she gives every single child.
Patrick is constantly busy, having fun, learning, and growing through all the activities Lorraine carefully plans. I never worry when he’s with her because I know he’s safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. Lorraine is so much more than just a childminder — she’s someone we completely trust with our son, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. My partner and I truly couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
