My Experience

My previous job was at Watford Mencap, a charity that works with children and adults with learning disabilities. My occupation required me to have extensive knowledge of the individual needs of children and to be able to attend to these requirements. I made sure to always provide a warm and comforting energy to my clients. Patience was an important skill I brought to this role and having to stay calm under pressure.

During my time in Sixth form, I worked with Year 7 students frequently to help with their education. In my first year, I helped in science classes once a week to help provide extra attention for the students who needed it. In Year 13, I helped to run a mental health project to teach the students the importance of looking after mental health and strategies to deal with stress.

My Qualifications

A-levels: History (Grade A), Psychology, (Grade B), Core Maths (Grade B), Biology (Grade C).
I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Liverpool.
