About Me
Hi, I’m Ezra! I’m a caring, reliable, and patient babysitter who enjoys creating a safe, calm, and fun environment for children. I’m a good listener, responsible, and comfortable following routines while engaging children in age-appropriate play, creative activities, and quiet time.
I’m mixed race (Caribbean and South Asian) and have years of experience supporting families from diverse ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds through my previous work as a support worker. This included supporting families through difficult circumstances such as domestic abuse, housing issues, mental health challenges, and housing insecurity, which has strengthened my empathy, patience, and understanding.
My Experience
I come from a large family and have many years of hands-on babysitting experience caring for relatives’ children, ranging from babies as young as 8 months to teenagers aged 14.
I am also currently a weekend nanny for a 1-year-old and a part-time nanny for a 6-year-old (profile/3135316 's daughter).
I have experience supporting bath time and bedtime routines, focusing on fostering children’s independence in a safe, age-appropriate way. I also have experience helping children develop their handwriting, reading, and maths skills.
I use fun, engaging methods tailored to each child to help them stay motivated and confident while learning.
My Qualifications
I don’t have formal childcare qualifications, but I hold a law degree, a Master's degree in Psychology, and a Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills. I am currently training to become a therapist/counsellor.
My Availability
I am available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I am unavailable on Fridays because that is the day I attend college. I can potentially work on Thursdays, but this depends on my college workload.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
Fees are negotiable. I am happy to work with what you can afford.

Ever since I have been with Ezra she has been so supportive, someone you can trust with your child she will deliver the service. Very professional and kind hearted my daughter gets on well so much with her.
