Full Time Nanny Job In London
About Me
We are a young family with two kids and another on the way.
Dad is a full time work with regular travel and mum is full time carer for the kids
My Requirements
We are a warm, growing family looking for a kind and experienced Ofsted-registered nanny to become a trusted part of our household.
We are looking for support for 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, usually 6–8 hours per day.
The main focus of the role will be caring for our two-year-old toddler — helping with meals, playtime, learning through everyday activities, supporting his development, and gently assisting with toilet training. We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with young children and is happy to take the lead during the day, making thoughtful, child-centred decisions.
We would love to find someone who is reliable, nurturing, and experienced, and who feels comfortable supporting a busy family environment with care and confidence.
Start date: as soon as possible.

We agreed to hire Claire as our nanny, she pulled out of the agreement as soon as my wife went in Labour! Which was one day before her start date.
She also kept on saying during the interview, I can do everything, whatever you need tell me, I am flexible etc etc but I had some doubts, but my wife agreed to hire her as it was short notice and we didn’t have much time left.

I am very sorry you feel this way, but when I interviewed for your role, I explained I had a full-time position starting in April.
This unexpectedly fell through. I was then contacted by a different family the next day looking for a full-time Nanny and we arranged an interview..
Out of respect for you I then immediately sent you a message to explain what was happening. I said I could work one month or until you found someone else to take over the role, I do not feel this was unreasonable and I did not leave you without childcare. I then received a message from you offering me more money to keep me. I try to explain that it was not about the money. It was about the need for me to secure a full-time position.
Are them received a rude and unkind message back from you which I feel was very unfair and uncalled for. I did not text you the day before I was due to start and I did not leave you without childcare.
