About Me
Hi! I’m a warm and reliable nanny with experience supporting children from 6 months to 16 years old in home, education and nursery settings. I currently work as a nanny for two school-aged children, providing full wraparound care from busy morning routines through to bedtime, as well as travelling with the family when needed. Previously, I worked in a Montessori nursery caring for children aged 6 months to 4 years, where I had responsibility for planning activities, supporting development, managing mealtimes and creating a safe and engaging environment for little ones to learn and grow.
Growing up on a farm surrounded by horses, pigs, and plenty of mud gave me a lifelong love for the outdoors, hands-on play and creative adventures. I enjoy everything from reading stories and imaginative play to crafts, outings and encouraging curiosity through everyday experiences.
I’ve always had a nurturing side, especially after helping care for my little sister growing up (she's now almost 21!) and I genuinely love building strong, supportive relationships with the children I care for. My approach is caring, gentle and supportive, with a focus on helping children feel happy, confident and secure whilst making everyday life fun.
My Experience
I will be looking for a new family from end of August/start of September as my current family are relocating. Before becoming a Nanny I worked in a Montessori nursery in Islington and as an English Teacher in Thailand. Alongside work I am studying for a BA (Hons) in Childhood and Youth Studies and I am Level 5 TEFL qualified, having taught in Italy, Germany, Thailand and South Korea. I’m Level 2 Food Safety trained and have experience caring for children aged 6 months to 16 years. Since January 2024, I’ve pursued childcare as my career path, however, working with and supporting children has been part of my life for over two decades, from volunteering in schools and helping with horse riding lessons when I was younger to working at English language camps in Europe.
