About Me
My wife and I have three children, 6-year-old twin girls and a 4-year-old girl.
She is returning to work and would like someone to help her with our day-to-day tasks.
Light housework and preparing dinner, before collecting our children from school at 3pm and looking after them until we finish work at 5pm.
My Requirements
Ideally, we'd like someone to come to our house for two or three days per week to perform the following.
Arrive a few hours before the children finish school to do light day-to-day housework.
Tasks such as:
- Emptying the dishwasher and filling it
- Washing non-dishwasher safe equipment
- General tidying, like collecting clothes from the floor, wiping the dining table, checking if the beds are made, etc
We have a cleaner who comes in over the weekend and does big tasks like bathrooms, vacuuming, etc, so it is just light day-to-day housework.
Preparing a snack for the girls arriving home, and preparing (or making) dinner, depending on what's planned for that night. We usually pick Gousto recipe cards in advance, so there would be step-by-step instructions to follow.
Collect the girls from school. They attend Bamford Academy which finishes at 3pm and is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from our house.
We have an after-school routine we try to complete:
- Taking uniforms off and hanging up
- Getting dressed in their own clothes
- Having a healthy snack / light meal
- Completing their Kumon (English practice) booklets (if not done in the morning)
- Reading their school books (they come home on Wednesday)
After this, they can do colouring/arts and crafts, play board games, den making, etc.
They're limited to 30 minutes on their tablets per day, and our preference would be to keep them off them, but we understand they're useful sometimes (if trying to get something done with one of the other girls).
We would welcome occasional help on the weekend, subject to our plans.
