My Summary
Maternity Nurse & Behaviour Specialist Nanny | Holistic, Sen-Aware | Safeguarding & Child L
About Me
Maternity Nurse & Behaviour Specialist offering structured, emotionally attuned support from newborn through early childhood.
Focused on routine, regulation, and creating calm, secure home environments.
I am a recently qualified and knowledgeable Maternity Nurse, alongside my role as a Behaviour Mentor and Specialist Nanny, offering holistic, SEN aware support to children and families.
I support families through both the newborn stage and early childhood, helping to create calm, structured, and emotionally secure environments from the very beginning.
With a strong background in safeguarding and child law, I provide reassurance and stability to families, particularly where children may have additional emotional or developmental needs.
My approach is gentle, consistent, and emotionally attuned. I work with the understanding that behaviour is communication, and that both babies and children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and supported.
For newborns, I support with:
• Sleep and settling
• Feeding guidance
• Establishing gentle routines
• Creating a calm and supported home environment
My aim is not only to support the child, but to help families feel confident, settled, and secure.
My approach is holistic, calm, and child led.
With newborns, I focus on creating a peaceful, nurturing environment that supports both baby and parents during what can be an intense and emotional time.
With older children, I use play, routine, and meaningful activities to build trust and emotional safety. I enjoy incorporating outdoor time, movement, baking, creativity, and shared experiences to support regulation and connection.
For older children and teenagers, I focus on confidence-building, emotional awareness, and healthy coping strategies, helping them explore their strengths and feel more secure within themselves.
My Experience
I have over six years’ experience supporting vulnerable and looked-after children across a range of settings, including nurseries, behavioural schools, and children’s homes.
I have worked with children aged 1–17 with a wide range of needs, including autism, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, mental health challenges, and school refusal.
I have supported children within both shared and single-occupancy homes, working with complex trauma backgrounds requiring high levels of safeguarding, consistency, and emotional support.
This experience has given me a strong understanding of how calm, predictable care and secure attachments support children’s wellbeing.
In my current role as a Family Practitioner, I work alongside families involved in the family court process, supporting co-parenting, reducing conflict, and ensuring children’s wishes and feelings remain central.
Alongside this, I now support families during the newborn stage as a maternity nurse, helping establish strong, calm foundations from the very beginning.
My Qualifications
