About Me

I am 24, turning 25 soon, and have several years of experience working with children in both care and educational settings. I began babysitting regularly at the age of 18–19 for a family, which helped me build strong relationships with children and understand their individual needs. Since then, I have gained professional experience as a SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant across multiple primary schools in Manchester, supporting children with additional needs to access learning effectively.
Alongside this, I have worked as an outreach worker with vulnerable families, providing support with behaviour management, mental health, and emotional wellbeing. I studied Educational Psychology at university, giving me a strong understanding of child development and the vital role of play in learning, social skills, and emotional development, allowing me to apply theory to practice.
I have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. My long-term goal is to complete the Educational Psychology doctorate. I also currently work with individuals experiencing homelessness, which has further strengthened my empathy, communication skills, and resilience. I am fully DBS enhanced checked and committed to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.
