About Me

We are a small family relocating to Charnwood district as I have recently joined Loughborough University as a lecturer. My husband and I both work full time, and we have a lovely 15-month-old son.
Our son is a curious, active toddler who enjoys being outdoors, exploring, music and books. At home we speak both English and Portuguese (we're from Brazil), so he is growing up bilingual.
As parents we are calm, organised and value kindness, communication and a nurturing environment for our child.

My Requirements

We are looking for childcare for our 15-month-old son starting around May/2026, as we are relocating to the Charnwood (looking for houses around Syston/Loughborough) area.
Ideally we are looking for care Monday to Friday during working hours.
We have access to funded childcare hours for working parents, so it would be helpful if the setting accepts funded places, although this is not essential.
