About Me

Hi! My name is Maya, lovely to meet you.

I’ve recently relocated from Australia back to the UK and am looking for babysitting opportunities in Portsmouth and Chichester.

Growing up with a brother eight years younger than me, I was exposed to childcare from a very early age. I regularly helped look after him while our single mum was working. From the age of 16, I babysat for neighbours, family friends, and children from his school. I’m now 21, and after spending the last two years working in disability care in Australia, I’m keen to return to babysitting alongside my other work.

I’m a calm, patient and reliable babysitter, and I love working with kids. My skills include visual arts, intermediate French, cooking, running, and coming up with fun activities.

My Experience

I have over two years’ experience babysitting for four families, for children of varying ages, including full-days, after school and bedtime routines.

I also worked as a teaching assistant for holiday club and weekly term-time art classes in Australia, supporting group activities and encouraging creativity.
