About Me

Hi, I'm Georgia! I'm 26 years old and a friendly, reliable, creative, and active person who genuinely loves working with children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun.
I enjoy creating a safe, caring environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I love planning creative activities, spending time outdoors, reading together, and encouraging children to explore new experiences that help build their confidence and independence.
I've worked with children in a variety of settings, including as a nanny, an au pair, and at an American summer camp. I'm also a qualified climbing instructor and have spent many years teaching children to climb, helping them develop confidence while ensuring their safety. Most recently, I was promoted to Program Director at camp, where I led large teams of staff and helped oversee the care and wellbeing of hundreds of children. These experiences have strengthened my communication, organisation, leadership, and ability to stay calm and dependable in any situation.
I'm always happy to support families with the day-to-day responsibilities that come with nannying, whether that's school runs, meal preparation, homework help, bedtime routines, light household tasks related to the children, or simply being an extra pair of hands to help your home run smoothly. I also really value open and honest communication with parents, as I believe working together as a team is the best way to provide consistent, supportive care for children.
Outside of childcare, I enjoy playing rugby, spending time outdoors, reading, and playing music. During the camp off-season, I continue working with the organisation by helping recruit and support international staff, which keeps me connected to a community I'm incredibly passionate about.
I'm now looking for the opportunity to support a family in whatever way suits them best, whether that's year-round, during the summer holidays, throughout the school term, or on a more flexible basis. My goal is to become someone your family can truly rely on and to build a strong relationship with both parents and children. I strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment while supporting your family's routines and helping your children thrive. I'm an honest, caring, and organised person who takes pride in being dependable, and I would love the opportunity to become a trusted part of your family's everyday life.

My Experience

I've been working with children since I was 18, and caring for them has always been something I'm truly passionate about. Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting children of all ages in a variety of settings, and I take great pride in creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and feel confident.

Since 2019, I've spent my summers working at an American summer camp, where I progressed into the role of Program Director. In this position, I oversaw the care and wellbeing of hundreds of children while leading teams of staff, planning engaging programmes, and ensuring every child felt included, supported, and safe throughout their camp experience.

Alongside this, I've worked as an au pair for three different families in both live-in and live-out roles. I've supported children with all aspects of their daily routines, including feeding, naps and sleep schedules, school runs, homework, meal preparation, playtime, bedtime routines, and transporting them to activities. I've cared for children from as young as 3 months through to 16 years old, allowing me to confidently adapt my approach to suit each child's personality, age, and individual needs.

I'm also a qualified climbing instructor and have spent many years teaching children to climb safely. This role has strengthened my ability to build children's confidence while always keeping their safety and wellbeing at the centre of everything I do.

I'm fully PVG and DBS checked, as well as First Aid and CPR certified, including paediatric CPR. I also hold a full driving licence and have my own car, allowing me to reliably assist with school runs, appointments, and extracurricular activities.

Above all, I believe strong relationships are built on trust and open communication. I enjoy working closely with parents to provide consistent, dependable care that fits each family's routines and values. My goal is to be a positive, reliable presence in a child's life while giving parents complete confidence that their children are safe, happy, and well cared for.
