About Me

I am a qualified (QTS), experienced primary school teacher currently teaching a wonderful Year 4 class. I also teach English to Japanese exchange students during the summer months.

I have a passion for educating children and believe every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential in their learning, despite any barriers they may face. My aim is to provide sessions within an intended area of the curriculum and set high expectations that motivate, inspire and challenge children.

My Experience

I have taught for 4 years in various year groups, including Year 1, Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6. I have experience working with children from a range of backgrounds, of all abilities and with varied needs.

My SEN experience includes working with children who have speech and language difficulties, ADHD, ASD, dyslexia and SEMH needs.

I am able to help within any subject across the curriculum at primary level, with particular focus on English (reading and writing), phonics and maths.

I believe my students appreciate my patience and ability to cater to their individual needs in a calm and caring environment, where they can gain a deeper level of understanding in a range of subjects and improve their overall confidence.

My Qualifications

Degrees:

-Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) & Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
-BSc with Honours in Sport Science and Physical Education.
