About Me
I have just returned to the UK with my adult daughter who was born in Hong Kong. I have been fortunate to live an international lifestyle while having the opportunity maintain a lot of British customs. I was an active member of Hong Kong riding club and ran the schools equestrian team. I was also involved in theatre and talent shows from directing performances to costume design. I also was an active part of my village where I hosted playgroups and art and craft activities. I was an active member of the gym and did classes 3 times a week and extended my exercise to dog walking and sea swimming other times.
But most of all children tend to like me and have always come to me in confidence to be able to express themselves.
My Experience
I have 28 years of teaching experience in Hong Kong working for British International and local International schools.
I have developed a strong foundation teaching in early childhood education along with tutoring older children up to the age of 16.
I pride myself on being a professional and effective communicator, which has allowed me to excel in my teaching roles.
My experience working with children has equipped me with the skills necessary to create engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that promote exploration, creativity, and social interaction. I believe all children should have a good life balance as this is critical for a child’s growth.
I am dedicated to providing a fun, safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop.
