My Experience

I have professional experience working with young people aged 16+ through the National Citizen Service (The Challenge), where I supported mentoring, group activities, teamwork and positive behaviour. This role strengthened my communication skills, my ability to set clear boundaries, and my confidence working with older children and teenagers in structured and unstructured environments.
In addition, I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, through family, community and educational settings. I have supported daily routines, play, outdoor activities and homework, adapting calmly and confidently to different ages, personalities and needs.
I have also worked as a primary and secondary school teacher, including experience as an English and photography teacher. As part of my teaching roles, I regularly supervised and cared for groups of children during school trips and outdoor activities, ensuring safety, organisation and clear communication at all times. This experience has given me strong group-management skills, awareness of safeguarding, and a calm, responsible approach when caring for multiple children.

• Babysitting from £23.00 per hour

My fees reflect my experience, qualifications (DBS & Pediatric First Aid), and my background in education and childcare. I am flexible depending on the family’s needs and schedule.
School runs (pick-ups / drop-offs)

After-school care (afternoons)
Includes school pick-ups, snack preparation, play, outdoor activities and supervision.

After-school care with homework support
Includes school pick-ups, homework help, structured activities and evening routine.

Includes preparing a simple, healthy meal for the children, after-school care and routines.

Includes care at home or outings, activities, meal preparation if required, and full supervision.
