About Me
Hi There! Hello, my name is Lauren and I am a registered childminder based in Bishopbriggs. I am a mum to my two-year-old son, William, and live with my partner and son in a safe, family-friendly home.
During my maternity leave, I developed a strong passion for early years care and child development. Watching my son grow and supporting his learning has been incredibly rewarding and confirmed my decision to pursue a career in childcare.
My original career goal was to become a teacher. After gaining office experience and professional training following school, I made a career change and completed all relevant training over the course of a year to become a registered childminder. As a parent, I understand the challenges families face when arranging childcare. My aim is to support parents and guardians by providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children, supporting them through every stage of development — from newborn to toddler, toddler to child.
I am registered with the Care Inspectorate Scotland and work in partnership with SCMA and East Dunbartonshire Council. I currently work within a school setting (since October 2025), supporting children and maintaining up-to-date PVG membership

My Availability
I provide childcare for up to 6 children per day (including my own).
Age Range
• 6 months to 5 years (pre-school)
• 5 to 12 years (after-school care)
After-school care (15:00–17:00) is available for children attending schools that:
• Provide shuttle buses to the Auchinairn area, or
• Can be dropped off independently or by a parent/guardian
Operating Hours
• Monday to Wednesday
• 08:00 – 17:00
Fees
• Childminding: £5.00 per hour
• £40.00 for a full 8 hour day
• Babysitting: from £9.00 per hour
I accept Tax-Free Childcare payments, BACS, and Direct Debit.
I work in partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council, offering eligible families access to 1140 funded childcare hours — please enquire for further details.
