About Me
Hi There! I am new mum of my 2 year old son William and my family is based in Bishopbriggs. During my maternity leave I have become more maternal and loved being involved in my son’s development, however my maternity leave went far too fast and I just loved watching him grow and his development into a little gentleman and still do. I live with my partner and son. My main career goal was to become a teacher however I gained office experience and training since leaving school, I have now changed my career and done all relevant training for a year in order to be a childminder. My CV is also available for reference detailing my education and work experience.
As a mother I know the struggles of childcare and I aim to help assist other parents and guardians with childcare in the transition from newborn to toddler, toddler to child and help with the development and learning of all children in my care!
I am registered through SCMA who have joined in partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council, and I am registered with the Care Inspectorate for my service. I have experience working with children as i used to volunteer at a local church youth club and my current job involves working with children in a school setting where i was also part of the PVG Scheme/Disclosure Scotland and this has now been updated for my childminding services.
My house is also equipped with carbon monoxide detectors and Scottish fire/safety standard smoke and fire detector; fire safety measures will be in place. My house is also equipped with baby proofing and baby gates. First Aid Training has been conducted with Mini First Aid Glasgow and I am also insured.
My Experience
Prior to my son, i volunteered at a local youth club in a local church and occasional family babysitting duties. Since having my son for 2 years we have been involved in many local parent and toddler classes including bookbug since 6 months old!
I gained office/work experience I have collated over the past 8 years since having my son I have trained to become a childminder and done all relevant training to change my career.

My Availability
I offer a childminding service for up to 6 children a day (including my own) from the ages of 6 months to 5 years (primary school starting ages) and 5 years onwards until 12 years of age(after school care 15:00-17:00pm, this is only available for primary schools that provide shuttle buses to Auchinairn area).
I will be operating childminding services between the hours of 08:30am-17:00pm, Monday to Wednesday at £51.00 per day (£6 per hour) per child. I have joined the tax free childcare for parents to claim tax free childcare services and can pay via those services or alternatively payment can be made through BACS/DD. East Dunbartonshire will be working with myself through partnership with the option for parents/carers/guardians to have 1140 free childcare hours, please enquire for details.

- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£6 per hour(£51.00 for full 8.5 hour day).
