About Me


Hello, I’m Charla!

I’m 24 years old, and married to my lovely husband Matthew. We live in Henley-on-Thames.

I grew up in a busy household and was the eldest of three girls in my family, so I had a lot of practice looking after children from a young age.

I am family-oriented, warm, and friendly. I have always loved children and take a genuine interest in them, as I believe we are raising the future of our world. This requires attention, care, lots of love… and sometimes a little help!

I have a strong interest in nutrition, cooking, and baking. I have completed various professional cooking courses, and particularly enjoy home cooking. I am a very keen crafter and love playing and creating, which fits perfectly with working with children. I am also a pet lover and have experience caring for both cats and dogs.

My Experience

2025 - 2026 • I am currently working as a babysitter in Henley and the surrounding areas.

2022 - 2024 • I worked as a private tutor for pupils aged 7–12. I taught English language and supported them with homework and daily life. I would also babysit.

I have experience caring for younger children, having looked after babies from 8 month onwards as well as toddlers ???

My Qualifications

I have recently completed a Paediatric first aid course (February 2026) and full DBS check.

I am keen to improve and widen my knowledge & hands-on experience with children, and I am actively working towards obtaining childcare qualifications. Hope to work with you soon!
