Hi there, my name is Courtney & I am a 20 years old. I live at home with my puppy Honey and enjoy spending my spare time at the gym. As I enter my final year of Nursing school, I am due to qualify as a paediatric nurse. With years of experience in babysitting & being a nanny, I have cared for children with numerous needs from complex disabilities to challenging children. I believe myself to be a confident, easy-going person who is always trying the best to help any way I can. Nothing is too much to ask, and whether it be consistent or last minute help I can be there any time. With knowledge from life support, toilet training, first aid to nutrition, cooking and fun activities I can ensure you child/children will always be safe with the upmost care provided. I have a full UK driving licence & a car, travelling is not an issue for me. I also have an enhanced DBS and references I can provide upon request. My Experience
I have been caring for children since the age of 14, what started as basic babysitting for family has grown into friends & support for people around me. I have cared for children as young as 6 months old, however, as a paediatric nurse due to qualify this coming summer I have had endless experience with caring children of all ages. In addition to being confident with any age group, I have much knowledge in caring for children with additional and complex needs. Ranging from completely wheelchair bound children to fully able & active kids, I am confident in moving & handling, providing medications as well as feeding through NG & PEG sites. In addition to babysitting, I have also been a nanny recently. This involved being a support for an entire family, whether that be helping with homework or doing school collections, to cooking meals and cleaning the home. I can provide references upon request to back up my experience, as well as training certificates for all my relevant knowledge such as life support, epilepsy management, moving & handling and much more. My Availability
My availability varies from week to week depending on my placement shifts, therefore I cannot correctly give a definite time table. Over the summer & school holidays I am more available so you have a date in mind please contact me!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.85 per hour
- Nannying from £10.85 per hour (gross)
My fees are those associated with national minimum wage, which is £10.85 per hour. If it requires driving a significant distance more may be needed for fuel. It is more for overnight at £12 per hour due to needing to arrange this at home.
