About Me
I’m a new mum to a happy and (relatively!) easy-going baby boy (born June 2025). He has a lovely temperament and is getting more active with every day (nearly crawling!). I’m looking for a childminder in Bristol (ideally quite central) from September 2026 (when he is 15 months) with a good sense of humour, a kind nature, and a proactive attitude who genuinely enjoys caring for babies /toddlers and can create a "home away from home" environment.
My Requirements
I’m looking for a childminder with experience and confidence caring for babies, ideally with:
- Strong experience and/or qualifications working with young babies
- A creative approach to age-appropriate activities, including outdoor time
- First aid training
- Openness to helping with potty training (we are doing EC!)

Sally was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, she put me completely at ease with her warm, motherly nature and excellent communication. Meeting her in person only reinforced that feeling – she was approachable, kind, and instantly made both me and my 11 month son feel comfortable.
We hired Sally to look after our son during a wedding, and despite the day becoming a little chaotic at times (especially later in the evening when groomsmen were popping in and out of the cottage we were staying in), she remained calm, patient, and reassuring throughout. Nothing seemed to faze her.
Most importantly, my son absolutely loved her and was so happy in her company. It made such a difference knowing he was being cared for by someone so capable, caring, and trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sally to anyone looking for a babysitter, and we would happily hire her again.
