About Me

Qualified, friendly, fun teacher with over 25 years' experience of Nursery age children and beyond, with a passion for English and drama. I am also qualified to teach English as a second language (CELTA).
I have two adult children of my own and a cute little dog. I am currently doing an MA in creative writing for children. My other hobbies are drama, storytelling, theatre and dancing.

My Experience

I am a qualified teacher and have taught in state, private and language schools. I have a PGCE, CELTA and LAMDA drama qualifications. I am currently undertaking an MA in creative writing for children.
I have taught numerous age groups, including college students. I am extremely patient and I have taught younger children for many years. I appreciate how busy parents are and how fitting in regular spellings and reading sessions are often a real problem!
Experienced in student assessments and exams.

PGCE Primary Teacher, QTS, CELTA.

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
  • Tutoring from £30.00 per hour

I can provide tutoring or babysitting, or both, depending on your child's needs. I wouldn't for example suggest a whole hours tuition for a four year old.
