I hold a CEERB2 certificate (March 2024) and ESOL Level 1 (June 2024). I am able to care for children in both English and Japanese, supporting their communication and emotional needs in a way that feels natural and reassuring.

My Experience
I have over ten years of experience working in kindergartens in Japan.
In addition, I have worked as a piano teacher and have experience running an independent childcare programme, supporting children's development through both education and creative activities.
I also have extensive babysitting experience in Japan, caring for children of various ages and understanding their individual needs.
My Qualifications
I graduated from a music university in Japan in 1991, specialising in Early Childhood Education.
I am also a qualified cook (2014), In addition, I was ordained as a Buddhist cleric in 2017, which has deepened my understanding of mindfulness, emotional awareness, and caring for others

My Availability
My main job is working in restaurant operations. I offer babysitting during my available time outside of work hours.
If desired, during childcare hours I am happy to introduce simple Japanese activities such as picture book reading and hand games in Japanese, to gently broaden your child's interests and cultural awareness. There is no additional charge for this.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
