My Experience

I have around 5 years of experience working with children in a range of childcare environments, including nurseries and preschools, as well as private babysitting and nannying for families.

During this time, I have cared for children of different ages, from babies and toddlers through to school-aged children. My experience includes providing one-to-one care, preparing meals and snacks, supporting nap and bedtime routines, changing nappies, helping children get dressed, school runs within walking distance, taking children to activities and days out, and planning fun and age-appropriate activities at home.

I have experience looking after children independently for longer periods of time and taking them to activities such as swimming and children’s classes. I am confident following a family’s existing routine while making sure the children feel safe, comfortable and have an enjoyable time in my care.

I also have experience supporting children with additional needs and have a strong interest in SEND. I run my own sensory sessions for babies and young children, where I plan and provide sensory, messy-play, creative and development-focused activities.

I am DBS checked, First Aid trained and Food Hygiene trained. I’m patient, caring and reliable, and I enjoy building positive relationships with both children and their families.

I am also currently completing a Level 2 Introduction to Caring for Children course to further develop my knowledge of children’s development, wellbeing and care.

My Autism and ADHD training has helped develop my understanding of different needs and how I can adapt my approach to support each child as an individual. I have a particular interest in SEND and creating a safe, understanding and inclusive environment for every child in my care.

My Availability

Monday to Thursdays all day
Fridays afternoons
Weekend upon requests

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
