Brilliant night nanny

Pavlina was with us three nights a week for the first 14 weeks after we brought our son home, and she was an absolute lifesaver. We both really needed the sleep for work and for health reasons and knowing she was there looking after him meant we could properly switch off and rest. Depending on what I wanted to do, sometimes she brought him to me for breastfeeding, and other times I could pump or just sleep and she’d keep him with her and make him a bottle. So grateful for her help.

She is such a kind, caring and lovely person. She is always punctual and reliable which wasn’t always true of others and we trusted her completely with our newborn from day one. She has so much experience and is always happy to answer questions and share advice which I really value as a first time mum. She is wonderful with our little boy and he adores her. She always seems to be able to settle him in his bassinet far more easily than we can!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Pavlina. She made such a difference to those first few months, and I honestly don’t know how we would have managed without her. She’s also a really good cook and I loved the gluten free blueberry cakes and brownies in the middle of the night! She was amazing at logging sleeps, feeds and nappy changes on our huckleberry app and would arrive in the evening having checked the app and knowing how our day had been! I found it especially comforting to have her help on the nights of his first two sets of jabs when I was worried about him getting a fever. We really hope to keep in touch and hope she can come for nights when teething kicks off or babysitting if she’s available! :)
